• making Valentines boxes with my girls today, I can't help myself from going overboard, they are pretty elaborate!
• making plans to actually make Easter dresses for my girls, every year I say I'm going to do it but now that I have my new sewing machine, I really mean it this time! I better start now, because it might take me a few months
  
• getting all caught up on Lost, but guess what... I am still Lost, that show makes no sense but I can't stop watching.
• seeing all the fun and creative things Nick comes up with to do with his time when he can't touch his x-box or computer. This grounding thing might actually be really good for him.
  
• The hilarious video of Millie sleeping, don't worry, I'll post it on my blog soon!

• all five of us cleaning for four hours straight, this house never looked so good and sparkly!
  
• family over for Super Bowl party

• Mom and Dad home safe from their trip to Sedona

• new phones for the house, the old ones were so bad that people couldn't even hear me when I answered
  
• Nick scored 7 pts in his bb game, he is really improving

• Millie with all of her baby dolls
• going to Ikea with Matt for a little while, even though the checkout lines were so long we abandoned our cart and went home with nothing

• bookshelf is finally complete and filled with books and cuteness
• no school means sleeping in
• Zimbi hits the stores today, fingers crossed that it will be a huge success

• visiting with Kim while our boys roughed it out on the basketball court
  

Stupid Things

• Nick, for the really really bad thing he did today, I am still trying to calm myself down and refrain from killing him. He might be grounded for the rest of his life.
  
• how may zits I get on my chin when I forget to wash my face after swimming
• the knuckle on my left ring finger that will never be right after I banged it into the door when putting away the Christmas decor.
• sorry Wes, but the fire alarms in my house have been more trouble than they are worth thus far. I am almost willing to pull them all out and run the risk of burning to death in my sleep
  
• all of the gray hairs that are popping up on my head, I will fight this aging thing with all I've got

• parent/teacher conferences, I am so proud of my girls. Especially Isabelle in her sticky situation with the girls of third grade.

• bought myself a new booklight so I can read in bed after Matt goes to sleep
• watching Matt play on the church basketball team, he was actually better than I thought he would be, although I think he is gonna be needing some advil tomorrow

• Shauna for bringing me warm pumpkin bread and a smoothie from Kneaders!
• F21 at Southtown now carries children's clothes, I can't wait to go check it out, I love to dress my girls

• Matt getting to go Park City to the Sundance Film Festival with his friends, even though I am a little jealous
• Kim for calling me to go to the Stake Womens Conference with her
• The amazing speaker at the conference, Tom Holdman, we was funny, brave, and inspiring. His work is breathtaking
• Matt's amazing luck with the policeman today, he got out of a speeding ticket because the cop's printer wasn't working! thank you!

• spent a few hours reading "The Help" and I am loving it! can't put it down
• gong out to dinner and movie with ladies for Noelle's b-day
• Matt surprised me and came home for lunch and brought yummy tomato bisque soup
• tootsie roll pops that I snuck into the movie
• signed up for a fun chocolate making class next month with Kim and Hillary

• my baby boy turns 13 today, he is everything I hoped he would be at this age, I feel blessed to have him in our lives and our family
• going out to dinner as a family for Nicks big day

• finally made it to the temple with Matt today while the kids were at school, it only took three tries

• when Matt got home at 6:00 it actually wasn't pitch black outside, a little sign of hope that Spring is on it's way
• gave myself a pedicure today, these nails haven't seen color in months
• sold the desk today
• Abby's phone call this morning to remind us that it was hat day at school, we would have totally forgot
• long hot bath with all the lights off at midnight, so relaxing and quiet. It's part of my new plan to slow down and de-stress my life.
